L’Institut national du nautisme (I2N) intègre l’éducation à l’environnement et au développement durable (EEDD) dans ses formations professionnelles. En 2023, un programme annuel EEDD a été déployé pour les stagiaires en BPJEPS et master 1 EGEL, incluant des actions avec le Syndicat Mixte dunes sauvages de Gâvres à Quiberon. Une offre de formation continue (FPC) sur la transition écologique dans les sports nautiques a été développée, ainsi qu’une communauté de formateurs dédiée. Des open badges ont été expérimentés pour valoriser l’engagement des éducateurs en faveur de la biodiversité, et un module de formation en ligne sur l’éco-navigation a été conçu en partenariat avec le réseau Eco-naviguer.
