CYPE France et le Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) ont développé un logiciel nommé ElodieBIM by CYPE pour calculer l'analyse du cycle de vie d'un bâtiment en France. Ce logiciel évalue l'impact environnemental des différentes phases du cycle de vie, incluant l'extraction des matières premières, le transport, la fabrication, l'installation et la construction. Il s'intègre dans le flux de travail Open BIM selon les standards de buildingSMART International. Ce projet a été initié en 2014 dans le cadre du projet européen Holisteec, visant à améliorer l'interopérabilité et la collaboration dans le secteur de la construction.
